Have breakfast at the hotel and check-out to travel to the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka. En route we will visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you will get the chance to witness the charm of the graceful giants of the jungles. Once you reach the hotel in Sigiriya, check-in and get some rest.

Early in the morning, you will visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress which was built by King Kasyapa (477-495 CE). This majestic attraction is replete with water gardens, boulder gardens and terraced gardens. The enchanting frescoes of Sigiriya damsels are also prominent in this world famous attraction. After exploring the rock fortress, you will be travelling around in the little village to admire the charming ways of life of the locals. You will get to enjoy their delicious food and witness a cookery demonstration too. A bullock cart ride and a boat ride will also be arranged for your pleasure today. In the evening a visit to the Minneriya National Park will be arranged. There are many herds of Sri Lankan elephants to see here along with large flocks of birds. The Minneriya Tank which is located within the national park is also a site worth seeing. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel in Sigiriya to travel to Kandy. On the way, we will stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are many beautiful statues and murals of Buddha to see in this ancient temple which is believed to have been built by King Valagambahu in the 1^st Century BC. We will also stop at the Spice Gardens in Matale where a variety of spices like cinnamon, pepper and nutmeg are grown. A batik factory tour will be arranged next. After you reach Kandy, check-in at the hotel and spend some time resting. This majestic ancient city was the last capital of ancient Sri Lankan kings. The Temple of the Tooth Relic is one of the most prominent sites in the city. There are many stores selling beautiful gemstones in Kandy, which you can visit during the day.

After breakfast, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, where a relic of a tooth of Buddha is enshrined. It is one of the most important places of worship among the Buddhists in the country. In the evening you will get the chance to witness a spectacular cultural dance performance.

Have an early breakfast and check-out of the hotel in Kandy to travel to Nuwara Eliya. You will be travelling to Nanuoya from Badulla by train. This scenic journey will indeed take your very breath away. From Nanuoya your vehicle will pick you and take you to Nuwara Eliya. En route a tea factory and plantation tour will be arranged. Rest of the day can be spent leisurely.

The day will be spent in the beautiful Horton Plains National Park to start with a good breakfast and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Horton Plains National Park is a place that possesses remarkable beauty. It is the headwaters of three prominent rivers of Sri Lanka. You will return to Nuwara Eliya after the hike and have lunch at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and travel to Tissamaharama via Ella. You will have lunch at the scenic lounge of 98 Acres Hotel in Ella. After lunch, be on your way and once you reach the hotel in Tissamaharama, check-in and get some rest. You can then visit Kataragama. The night will be spent at the hotel.

Pack your breakfast and travel to the iconic Yala National Park which is the most popular national park on the island. It has one of the highest leopard densities in the world. There are about 400 elephants and 40 leopards here along with wild buffaloes, Sambar deer, black bears and jackals. There are also many beautiful birds in the national park. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. The night will be spent at the hotel.

Check-out of the hotel in the morning and travel to the southern or western coast beach of your choice. The area offers many exciting water sports so you will be able to enjoy a great day of fun. The night will be spent at the hotel.
