This 9-day Jordan journey blends history, culture, and natural wonders. Begin in Amman with its citadel, Roman theatre, and vibrant streets before exploring Jerash and Um Qais, two of the region’s finest Greco-Roman sites. Travel along the Kingsway to Madaba, Mount Nebo, Dana, and Shobak Castle en route to Petra, where the Nabatean marvel awaits. Continue to Wadi Rum for desert adventures, Aqaba for Red Sea leisure, and Bethany for biblical heritage. Conclude with the unique floating experience at the Dead Sea before departure.
Meet and assist upon arrival, including help with the visa procedure (a complimentary tourist visa can be arranged for you). Transfer to the hotel in Amman and overnight stay in Amman.
In the morning visit of Amman, the capital of Jordan. You will see the citadel, the archaeological museum, Jordan museum and the King Abdullah Mosque, the Roman Theatre, walk in the old city and in the famous Rainbow Street and do a tour in the modern West Amman (Al Abdali Boulevard). In the morning, we begin our day with visit of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East. The colonnaded street, the Hadrian’s Gate and the two Roman theatres are the major sites you will discover there and then we drive to Um Qais on a plateau overlooking the north Jordan Valley and the glinting blue waters of Lake Tiberias are the ruins of Um Qais, ancient Roman Gadara. West of the Dead Sea and along the Kingsway, is the mosaic-filled city of Madaba. Crowned by a small church, this historic town lies in the middle of Jordan’s most fertile land. The finest mosaic found to date is still in its original place on the floor of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Situated 10 kilometres west of Madaba, overlooking the Jordan Valley is Mount Nebo, one of the alleged sites of the tomb of Moses.
Travel along the Kingsway, a historic route connecting Ammon (Amman) to Petra. Stop at Dana Village, located within the Dana Biosphere Reserve, Jordan’s largest nature reserve. This area is known for its diverse ecosystems, ranging from Mediterranean to desert landscapes, and offers stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. Take a brief photo stop to capture the breathtaking scenery.Proceed to Shobak Castle, also known as Montreal, a Crusader fortress built in 1115 by Baldwin I of Jerusalem. Explore its ruins and learn about its strategic importance during the Crusades. Continue to Wadi Mousa. Overnight in Petra.
Petra – one of the most fascinating sights in Jordan. Petra is one of the seven new world wonders and impresses with its wonderful architecture. The city was carved in the mountains by the Nabatean people more than 2000 years ago. Overnight in Petra.
Visit Petra for the second time, entering from the back road through Little Petra. Then drive to Wadi Rum, the famous desert of Jordan. Overnight in Wadi Rum.
Morning visit of Wadi Rum, the desert valley of the Bedouins, framed by brown and red jagged mountain ranges, will impress you today. During a 2 hours Jeep Tour with a Bedouin driver, you will discover the unique desert and sandstone mountains. Continue to Aqaba, overnight in Aqaba.
After breakfast we go drive through the Wadi Araba Road till, we reach to Bethany beyond the Jordan, the site where John the Baptist has baptized Jesus Christ according to the New Testament. The most spectacular site today, is the Dead Sea, which at 400 meters below sea level is the lowest body of water on earth… Because the salt content is eight times that of most world’s oceans, you can float in the Dead Sea without even trying.
