Upon arrival in Muscat, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist you throughout your stay.
Transfer to the hotel by a local driver. Check-in at 14h00.

In the morning, begin your journey with a half-day guided city tour of Muscat, discovering the charm of the Omani capital through its most iconic landmarks — a perfect introduction to the city’s cultural richness, heritage, and natural beauty.

 

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque:

A masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is one of Oman’s most impressive monuments. Adorned with exquisite mosaics, majestic chandeliers, and one of the largest handwoven carpets in the world, the mosque offers visitors a unique spiritual and artistic experience.
Note: Modest dress is required. Women must cover their hair, arms, and legs; men must wear long trousers and a shirt with sleeves.

 

Royal Opera House Muscat:

Discover this magnificent venue that blends Omani tradition with contemporary elegance. Admire its grand halls and intricate architectural details — a true tribute to the country’s passion for music and culture.

 

Bait Al Zubair Museum:

Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Oman through a fascinating collection of traditional artifacts — weapons, costumes, jewelry, and everyday objects — displayed in an authentic and beautifully restored setting.

 

Mirani and Jalali Forts (photo stop):

Admire from the outside these 16th-century fortresses overlooking Muscat’s harbor. Their striking cliffs and timeless architecture offer spectacular views of the coastline.

 

Mutrah Souq:

Stroll along the scenic Mutrah Corniche to its vibrant traditional souq — a true symbol of Omani commerce. Between spices, silver, and handicrafts, let yourself be enchanted by the colors, scents, and sounds of this lively market.

Depart to Nizwa, next, photo stop at Bahla Fort:

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this impressive fortress is a striking example of medieval Islamic architecture in Oman. Built by the Banu Nebhan tribe between the 12th and 15th centuries, its massive adobe walls and towers dominate the landscape at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar mountains. Its strategic position and complex design showcase the ingenuity of Omani builders of the past. Surrounded by local legends, Bahla Fort played a key role in defending the region.

 

Then, visit Jabreen Castle:

Explore one of Oman’s most beautiful and best-preserved castles, located near Bahla. Built in the late 17th century, this three-story structure served both as a royal residence and a center of learning. As you wander through its ornately decorated rooms, carved wooden ceilings, hidden staircases, and defensive features, your guide will share stories of Omani architecture, knowledge, and heritage. From the rooftop, enjoy panoramic views of the region, while inside, admire the engravings, calligraphy, and frescoes that reflect the refined artistry of the era.

 

In the afternoon, visit Nizwa Fort:
